Serving the community for over 35 yearsWe are a family owned and operated business with over 35 years experience. We pride ourselves in offering custom quality printing. Our company name “Printsmith” originated from the understanding that printing is a trade and just like a blacksmith creates objects from wrought iron or steel by forging metal we are able to create your vision through offset printing. We pride ourselves in excellent customer service, quality work, attention to detail and design. Unlike other companies that are on-line, we DO NOT USE pre-designed samples or templates because generally the generic brand is not as good.
La Canada Printsmith has presses on site which allow us to ensure color and consistency. We have a wide range of printing abilities from banners, yard signs, shirts, hats and stickers to letterhead and business cards. Jason Sarceda, Owner
Jason started as an apprentice printer at La Canada Printsmith right out of High School, while attending college. His attention to detail, determination and natural abilities allowed him to quickly move up the ranks to manager. Shortly thereafter, he bought the business was able to ask more of his family to join the team.
His hands-on training has allowed him to understand every aspect of this business from bindery, collating, stitching and bundling to printing both spot and 4-color process, Graphic Design and Sales.
Melanie Sarceda, Graphic Artist/Production Manager
Melanie Sarceda attended California State University of Los Angeles where she majored in Business & Marketing. She later realized she had a strong passion for art and attended Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in downtown Los Angeles as a Visual Presentation Major. Finalizing her education she studied Graphic Design at Pasadena City College.
She is an avid mixed medium artist and has a vast portfolio of various personal artwork as well as graphic design. She is well versed in branding, logo design and layout and has been in the business for over 15 years.
